Scholarship for IVED 2026 is NOW OPEN

In accordance with Article 37 of the Constitution of the Indonesian Debating Council, IVED 2026 is officially opening scholarship applications for institutions and adjudicators facing financial barriers.

WHAT IS IVED?  Indonesian Varsity English Debate (IVED) is one of the nation's most prestigious debating tournaments. This scholarship is dedicated to ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder talented teams and judges from participating.
IMPORTANT TIMELINE •
* Scholarship Deadline : 26 January (20:00 WIB) 
* IVED Registration : 6 Dec – 7 Feb 
* Technical Meeting : 13 Feb 
* Preliminary Rounds : 14–15 Feb 
* Elimination Rounds : 21–22 Feb

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS 
1️. General Program : for institutions with significant financial constraints. 
2. Regional Program : for eligible non-Java institutions. 
3️. Gender-based Program : For teams with at least 2 WGM members. 
4️. Independent Judges Program .

BENEFITS 
* Fee Waivers: Tiered waivers of 30%, 50%, or 100% based on assessment. 
* Free Training Program : Accepted scholars gain access to exclusive training sessions (late Jan – early Feb). Note: training is optional and participant identities remain anonymous until the event concludes.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 
* Have not participated in IVED/NOVED in the last 2 years. 
* Submit a proposal covering: participation purpose, financial constraints, and community contribution plan ( Proposal is substituted with the form ). 
* Each institution may send one team and/or one independent adjudicator.
